Genral

  • We require a print-ready PDF. Files should be supplied at the correct size with bleed included where necessary.

  • Bleed is an extra 3mm or 5mm of design extending beyond the final trim edge of your artwork. This allows for slight movement during trimming and prevents unwanted white edges on your finished print. If your background colour or image runs to the edge of the page, you must include 3mm or 5mm bleed on all sides. Example:An A5 flyer (148mm x 210mm) with bleed should be supplied at 154mm x 216mm.

  • All artwork should be set to 300dpi (dots per inch) at final print size. This ensures your design prints sharp and clear. Lower resolutions, such as 72dpi (used for web images), may appear blurry or pixelated when printed. If your design looks sharp at 100% zoom in your design software, you’re usually safe.

  • All files must be supplied in CMYK colour mode. CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) is the colour system used for printing. RGB is used for screens and can cause colour shifts when converted for print. If you upload an RGB file, colours may print differently from how they appear on your screen.

  • Keep all important text and logos at least 3–5mm inside the trim edge. This “safe area” ensures nothing important gets trimmed off during cutting. Anything too close to the edge risks being cut slightly due to standard production tolerances.

  • You must either embed all fonts within your PDF file or convert all text to outlines. This ensures your design remains intact and prevents layout issues or missing characters during printing.
